Summer in SoCal

I spent this past summer on an internship in Southern California. Work kept me busy during the weekdays, but on the weekends I tried to make the most out of my time in SoCal. Some of my trips included backpacking 30 miles through Yosemite, hiking to the top of Mt. Whitney, touring the Santa Barbara wineries, camping in Sequoia National Park, and diving/camping Catalina. Here are some of my favorite photos from the summer.

Paul jumping across a creek in Yosemite.

Paul and Marc hiking above Tuolumne Meadows.

Joey looking out over Sequoia National Park.

Consultation Lake near Trail Camp on the way to Mt. Whitney.

Andrew on Eagle Rock in the Santa Monica Mountains.

Becca and Laura on El Capitan beach.

A packed Dodger Stadium with Barry Bonds one home run away from tying Hank Aaron.

Ray, our master solutionary and sailing captain.

Josh on the hike to our Catalina campsite.

Parson’s Landing, our campsite on Catalina.

Jimmy and Paige at the DCI World Championships.
